Rowboat SSMS collects no personal data. The app sends nothing to Walzak Software: no account, no telemetry, no usage data, no crash reports.
What stays on your Mac
Saved connection details (host, port, database, login name) are stored on your Mac in the app's folder under Application Support. Passwords are stored in the macOS Keychain, and only there.
Where the app connects
Rowboat talks only to the SQL Server hosts you enter. It opens no other network connections. There are no analytics, no crash reporting, and no third-party SDKs in the app.
Buying from this store
If you buy the direct download here, Stripe processes the payment. Stripe handles your name, email address, and card details under its own privacy policy. This store keeps the order id, the email address Stripe reports, and the payment status, so I can confirm the purchase and deliver the download. I never see or store card numbers.
If you buy from the Mac App Store, Apple handles the purchase, and I receive no personal data from it.
