Rowboat
A native SQL Server client for macOS 14 and later. SwiftUI and AppKit, with my own pure-Swift TDS driver. No ODBC drivers, no Java, no Electron. Connects to Microsoft SQL Server 2012–2025 and Azure SQL with a SQL login over an encrypted connection: TLS negotiated in pre-login, plus TDS 8.0 strict mode.
The direct download is a one-time purchase, delivered as a notarized DMG. Same build as the Mac App Store version. No free download. The App Store listing is not live yet; it is the same $4.99 there.
